M.E.P.R.I. - The Mount Ephraim Police Reserves Incorporated is a volunteer organization providing emergency service to the to the boro of Mt. Ephraim and mutual aid to Camden County when called upon.

Our organization was incorporated in 1945 by members wishing to establish an organized EMS system and ambulance squad. Also the volunteers were police reserve officers and aided the police department with traffic conditions, patroling and keeping the peace.

In 1960 laws changed in the police area, changing the status of police reserves. Our volunteers then centered on hall rentals and bingo to support the ambulance funding.

Our squad currently has between 10 to 15 active members for ambulance calls. We have duty crews available from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We average around 500 to 600 calls a year.
